What is dust?

Dust consist of visible and invisible floating or resident particles of solid material. The bigger the particles the less they float around: the weight of the particles does not matter in this case. When particles are very small they remain suspended in the air until inhaled by workers or collected by a dust collection system. The health hazards caused by these particles largely depends on their chemical structure.
