Bader Grinders

Pedestal grinders and a number of polishing machines polishing carbon steel and stainless steel. One system was provided with Kirk & Blum Clamp Duct systems and the other was provided with standard spiral duct. Both duct systems were designed by DSHAY Air Systems Inc. Dust Collector was a Torit DFO 2-16 designed for 5000 cfm.

                                       

Bucksport High School, Maine

Aireau Shaker Dust Collector

WoodWorking Shop with Kirk Blum Clamp Duct System. Duct Installed by Down East Sheet Metal & Certified Welding, Brewer Maine.

DSHAY Air Systems provided duct layout.

   

 

        

Columbia Forest

This is a Cyclone with after filter in a woodworking application.

64 Cartridge Dust Collector, 75 hp fan, Clamp duct system with spark detection and extinguishment system

         

Flotation Technologies in Biddeford

Dust Collection Equipment included United Air Specialist Model SCF 16-4 with Air Management Module and extended Dirty Air Plenum to handle various urethane foam being machine. Also shown is the MCB 18 -3 Dust Control Modules and SFC 4-2 with Bag out collars and  short drum configuration. Units includes discharge fan silencer. Equipment selected and KB Clamp Ductwork designed by DSHAY Air Systems Inc.

         

     

Gagne Pre-Cast Concrete Mixing Plant

Re-designed capture hoods and properly sized ductwork with new dust collector. Mixing operators no longer needed dust mask when mixing concrete.

          

K & E Plastics

K & E Plastics in Vermont assembling a United Air Specialist  48 Cartridge dust collector with an Extended Dirty Air Module and Air Management Module to manage the variety of dust and particulates being collected

         

         

         

Coast Guard in South Portland

DSHAY Air Systems Inc. provided four AirWall modules for sandblasting boats brought in by the Coast Guard in South Portland Maine. Each AirWall module has a 20 hp blower and each module is rated for 16,000 CFM 30 air filter cartridges each module. The Air Wall units are equipped with conveying hopper and a bin vent dust collector. Filters are pulsed cleaned with a reverse pulse cleaning system

       

 

 

Plasma Cutting & Weld Fume Collection

Both Collectors have a capacity of 11,000 cfm The 48 cartridge unit is for Plasma Fumes with an Air to Media ratio of 0.8:1 and the 24 cartridge unit is 1.79:1 Air to media Ratio.

                       

Northern Maine Saw Mill

This 3000 CFM systems was installed to capture saw dust at the saw cutting logs. Systems is equipped with a spark detection system and Abort Damper allowing the company to return the air to the building

                  

Textile Facility

Clamp Together Duct Systems designed by DSHAY Air Systems and installed by a local sheet metal contractor.

                        

Cabinet Making Shop

Cabinet Making shop using a Torit UMA 750 Dust Collector 3500 cfm 10 hp. Duct work is Kirk & Blum Clamp Duct. System designed by Bob Deshaies and provided the owners with a detail drawing of the duct layout. The KB Duct was installed by the owners, who had no prior experience in installing ductwork.
